Port Canaveral has nine cargo berths with 6,976 feet (2,126 meters) of berthing space. See Navigation/Harbor & Dock Draft Limits page for information on drafts and vessel lengths permitted, plus channel depths and restrictions, tide restrictions and tug requirements.

North Cargo Piers 1 and 2 (continuous)
1,260 feet (384 meters) of docking space extending north/south with a 66-foot (20.11-meter) apron.
North Cargo Piers 3 and 4
North Cargo Pier 3 with 400 feet (121.92 meters) of docking space extending east/west.
North Cargo Pier 4 with 400 feet (121.92 meters) of docking space extending east/west. Equipped with cement unloader and with pipes for self unloading of cement ships.

South Cargo Piers 1, 2 and 3 (continuous)
1,616 feet (493 meters) of docking space. South Cargo Pier 3 is equipped with petroleum manifolds for five products.
Tanker Berths 1 and 2
900 feet (274 meters) of docking space. Equipped for five petroleum products.
South Cargo Pier 4
800 feet (244 meters) of docking space with 50-foot (15-meter) apron. Equipped with bulk cement self unloaders and with four load arms for loading and discharging #6 oil to and from shore-side facilities.
South Cargo Pier 5
800 feet (244 meters) of docking space. 400 feet (122 meters) of pier space with 50-foot apron.

Intermodal Gates

Intermodal gates are manned by security guards 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at both the North and South cargo areas. See Security & Badging for more information on badging requirements to enter secured areas.

Warehousing and Distribution Facilities

Port Canaveral features nearly 14 acres of covered warehouse storage facilities, as well as dry warehouse and termperature/humidity-controlled areas. We have special storage facilities available for cement and petroleum plus 125,000 square feet of general-purpose foreign trade zone warehousing.
